Mykonos Farmers

Mykonos Farmers is a modern cheesemaking facility founded in 2018 by third-generation Mykonian cheesemaker Giorgos Syrianos. Combining inherited knowledge with contemporary and environmentally responsible production methods, the company produces cheeses, yoghurt, Kopanisti, Tyrovolia and other dairy products using fresh milk from selected herds in Mykonos and Rhenia. Although the brand identity was already established, its growing product range required a more consistent and professional expression across packaging, corporate communication and digital presentation.

Design Individuals were responsible for extending the existing brand into a coherent collection of practical applications rather than redesigning or repositioning it. The central strategic decision was to respect the established identity while strengthening the relationship between Mykonian heritage, artisanal knowledge and modern food production. Every new application needed to feel recognisably part of the existing brand while improving clarity, consistency and shelf presence.

The system was implemented through packaging for a series of dairy products—including the renowned Mykonian Kopanisti—alongside product catalogues, corporate marketing graphics and digital material. Product and facility photography documented both the finished goods and the production environment, giving the company an authentic visual narrative grounded in place, people and process.

The resulting work gave Mykonos Farmers a more unified and professional presence across its physical and digital touchpoints. Its products could be presented more clearly and consistently while the photography and supporting materials provided a stronger platform for communicating the company’s provenance, production quality and connection to the agricultural traditions of Mykonos.
